St Annes Close

An award winning site, St Anne’s Close won the George Phillips Award for its “significant contribution towards conserving the built environment in Rutland” in 1983. We are pleased to announce that St Anne’s Close has been awarded the Elderly Accommodation Council “National Housing for Older People” Gold Award as the best example of retirement housing of its size (2014).

Built around the original 1399 Chapel, it is currently highlighted as part of the Oakham Heritage Trail. St Anne’s Close offers 28 spacious ground and first floor one bedroom flats.

Set in an attractive and secluded garden area, facilities include private parking, a Laundry Room, a Guest Room, and a Communal Room that hosts a range of social activities. There is a weekly Wednesday morning service in the Chapel for any resident or non-resident wishing to attend.
